Traditional Rooms

Three months after the blaze that destroyed the hotel, the property was sold and plans were announced for a new design concept: a Garden Inn-Hotel. By 1942 construction was completed on the hotel recognizable today, using bricks salvaged from the ruins of the original El Paso De Robles Hotel. If you look closely, you can still see some of the ash and soot left on these burned bricks throughout the buildings. 

As of Summer 2024, our Traditional Garden Rooms are newly renovated. Overlooking the central gardens, this guestroom either features one King bed or two Full beds, and a bathroom with a walk-in shower. In room amenities include SMEG compact refrigerator, iron and ironing board, hair dryer, Keurig coffee makers, an electric tea kettle, robes and slippers, Gloss Moderne bath amenities, and connected 55” TV with streaming capabilities. 

Dog-friendly guestrooms incur an additional $50 per night fee to your reservation. 2 dogs maximum.  All rooms are non-smoking. 

Historic Grand Ballroom Guest Rooms

The Original El Paso de Robles Hotel Rooms

Located in 1889 House, so named because it is located within the only remaining building from the original El Paso de Robles Hotel, established in that year, these private guest rooms are situated about the Grand Ballroom. This newly renovated guest room features one king bed, a bathroom with a soaking tub and separate shower, and an in-room fireplace. Unlike the other guest rooms, the 1889 House pays homage to the Victorian history of the building which is reflected in the design.  

*All 1889 House King Rooms include a bathroom soaking tub, except for 1889 House King Balcony Rooms.

Two-Room Suites

Spacious Private Bedrooms with Living Rooms

Thanks to some 21st century technology and lots of hard work, the Jesse James Building which houses the Inn’s suites was rebuilt and opened in 2005.  The building, named after the infamous nephew of one of the previous owners who spent some time in Paso after being shot during a failed bank robbery, featured suites dedicated to the some of the more famous characters who had a role in the history of the Inn. The suites feature oversized bedrooms with a separate sitting area, large bathrooms, and an outdoor private spa tub located on a garden patio.
